Background

Fitness For Any Body is a personal training service established in 1996 by a former chain-smoking poor-eating couch potato who was awakened to the value of a wellness lifestyle upon his own epiphany many years earlier - a fall day when found that all his winter trousers had "shrunk" around the waist.

Since that day, Frank Claps has:

  1. Been a competitive runner and powerlifter
  2. Obtained a Master's in exercise science with an emphasis in adult fitness from East Stroudsburg University
  3. Earned and maintained certification from the American College of Sports Medicine and the National Strength and Conditioning Association
  4. Established an alliance with a major orthopedic medicine group, where he served as a fitness consultant and therapy assistant
  5. Earned certification as a wellness coach to help clients overcome difficulty staying with diet and exercise programs
  6. Established and continued a physician-sponsored strength training program for senior adults interested in improving strength and balance
  7. Written feature articles on exercise, nutrition and wellness for national magazines (Muscle and Fitness, Muscle and Fitness HERS, Men's Fitness, HERSports, and Prevention)
  8. Provided talks and workshops at conventions and worksites
